Fun and Excitement at Kounotori Tajima Airport
The Kounotori Tajima Airport, which opened in May of 1994, is approximately 4km southwest of Toyooka City in the north of Hyogo. The scheduled flights are operated by Japan Air Commuter (JAC) and fly to and from Osaka. Beyond commercial flights, the airport is also home to Sky Dive Hyogo, the only place where you can go skydiving in western Japan. They have experienced instructors with tandem skydiving for beginners and even a school if you want to pursue a license. This thrilling experience is made even more spectacular by the beautiful landscape and Sea of Japan.
