21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa
Mother Farm is a sightseeing farm on Mount Kano that looks out over the mountains of the Boso Peninsula as well as the magnificent landscape of Tokyo Bay and Mount Fuji. Its extensive grounds are home to a vast range of animals, including cattle, horses, sheep, alpacas, and capybaras. In addition to the Mother Farm Tour, in which you ride on a tractor train for a hands-on tour of the Makiba Farm, there are a range of events where you can get up close and personal with animals, such as milking a dairy cow by hand or experiencing the piglet races. There are a myriad of ways for both young and old to enjoy an entire day there, including one of the Kanto region's largest rape blossom fields, seasonal flowers and fruits that brighten the landscape, and farm treats such as soft-serve ice cream and barbequed mutton.
